Today marks my 5 year #anniversary as a #Realtor. It hasn't been easy at all, but it has been very rewarding. I want to thank each and every client friend that believed in me to assist them with their #RealEstate needs. To be brief: I was a single mother that was laid off from the school system in 2009, and needed to do something. No ones was hiring me during that terrible time in the economy. Moral of the story & what matters is: I took that first step and made a career. |
Take that step, people. Many contact me and ask "can you give me advice? I want to go in to real estate." I'm honest with them. Sure, there will be disappointments. Probably a lot of tears. Ask my friends. I have cried.. a lot. I have been rejected many times. I've failed. I've been knocked down. But, I got back up. And I have built some AMAZING relationships with awesome people. Real Estate is not about commission checks alone. It means you will be an important part of someone's life. You have the fiduciary duty to guide people, couple, young and old alike to achieve real estate goals. People will never forget how you made them feel and how you supported them through that process.
5 years, going through three different firms, and licensed in 2 states later: I plan to continue exploring different opportunities in the field I love. God Bless. #motivation
